Spotlight Saturday: Blog Posts We Loved this Week

Hi all,

Welcome to the end of another beautiful blogging week! We love reading fellow bloggers’ posts and have been thinking about creating a weekly post to spotlight, share and showcase some exceptionally written and creative posts from other bloggers. We’ve decided to create a weekly meme in which we do just that and encourage others to do the same. Let’s share the blogging love!

If you’d like to join us in this, please:
  • Link back to this blog
  • Share 3 posts (or as many as you want) that you’ve enjoyed reading over the past week
  • Recognise blogs by linking to their creators
  • Feel free to use the graphics!

BLOGGER: Dini Panda Reads

The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule – #BookReview

This post, written by Dini from Dini Panda Reads, reviews the book The Stranger Beside Me based on Ann Rule’s personal experience with the prolific serial killer Ted Bundy. The conflict of emotion and horror brought on by this story was eloquently articulated by Dini and really caught our attention. How would you have reacted to finding out someone you knew was essentially a well-disguised monster? Regardless of whether True Crime is your genre, this is a review that can be appreciated by all!

ARC Review: Aphrodite Made Me Do It by Trista Mateer

This ARC review, written by Amanda from Aelily Reads, really caught our attention this week. It was so simply, yet effectively done. When thinking of the a post we wanted to share this week, this was the first that came to mind. It’s short and sweet, yet packs a raw, emotional punch. We loved the inclusion of poetic excerpts from the book and that Amanda shared her thoughts on them. Whether you’re a poetry fan or not, we’d highly recommend you give this review a read!

BLOGGER: The Withering Blog

[A BLOGGER’S LIFE] Are Your Posts Good Enough?// COMMITMENT AND LACK THEREOF//

I love a great discussion post and R A I N from The Withering Blog has such a unique and engaging way of writing them. From the gorgeously captivating graphics to the engaging use of multiple font sizes and so many funny gifs these are always a favourite of mine to read. The question R A I N posed in this post, ‘Are your posts good enough?’ really caught my attention and made me think about the expectations I have of myself as a blogger. It’s a thought-provoking and entertaining post! What more could you possibly ask for?

  1. Omg y’all are so sweet! Thanks so much for featuring my post 😍😍😍 That review was a pretty tough one to write and post because I didn’t know if I was really articulating myself well at all. So glad to hear that you thought I did though! 🤣
